SDP guber candidate Adamu commissions campaign office in Adogi

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 Nasarawa State election, retired Inspector-General of Police, Muhammad Abubakar Adamu, has commissioned a new campaign office in Adogi Electoral Ward, Nasarawa State.

The campaign office, donated by 6 to 6 Jonah Yakubu Adogi, was commissioned on Thursday, September 24, 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen the SDP candidate’s grassroots campaign structure ahead of the 2027 election.

The commissioning is the latest development in the campaign activities of the IG 2027 Movement across the state.

It came days after Adamu distributed motorcycles to ward coordinators and vehicles to the campaign’s Director-General and other directorates as part of efforts to facilitate mobilisation and campaign activities across Nasarawa.

Speaking during the distribution of the campaign vehicles and motorcycles, Adamu said the motorcycles would assist ward coordinators in carrying out their responsibilities.

“For our staff in each ward, today we will give motorcycles so that it will help them carry out their tasks,” Adamu said.

He added that vehicles were also being provided for various sections of the campaign organisation, including the women’s wing, medical team, mechanics and operations.

“All of these are brought to help with the campaigns. If we continue, we will see other areas that need campaign items, which will also be provided,” he said.

The campaign office in Adogi is expected to serve as part of the movement’s grassroots structure as the SDP prepares for the 2027 Nasarawa governorship election.
