The Bauchi State Police Command has announced the commencement of the screening exercise for candidates who applied for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force as constables.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Aliyu Sani-Omolori, disclosed that the exercise would begin on Monday at the Police Training School in Bauchi.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Nafiu Habib, the commissioner said the announcement was made on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu.
According to the statement, the screening exercise is for candidates of Bauchi State origin who successfully completed the online recruitment registration.
“The exercise will hold between March 9, 2026 and April 18, 2026 at the Police Training School (PTS), Bauchi, starting from 7 am daily,” the statement read.
“Applicants are requested to log in to the recruitment portal: npfapplication.psc.gov.ng, to check their status and print the following documents, which they must present at the screening venue on the date and time indicated in their invitation slip: Guarantor’s Form; Application Submission Slip; Invitation Slip; Credentials Screening Form; and Physical Screening Form,” the statement added.
The command further listed other documents to be presented at the venue to include the invitation slip with assigned table, original National Identity Number printout or card issued by the National Identity Management Commission, O’Level certificate, birth certificate or declaration of age, and Local Government or State of Origin certificate.
Other required documents include trade test certificates for specialist applicants and a duly completed guarantor’s form with photocopies and passport photographs of referees attached.
The police added that candidates must present both original and duplicate copies of their credentials, neatly packaged in two separate white flat files, with recent passport photographs attached.
The statement also directed applicants to appear at the screening venue on the date stated on their invitation slip, dressed in white canvas shoes, white T-shirts, white shorts and white stockings.
It warned applicants to be wary of fraudsters, stressing that the screening exercise is free of charge.
