PDP faction loyal to Wike reconfirms Abdulrahman Mohammed and Sam Anyanwu in their positions

Abdulrahman Mohammed and Samuel Anyanwu have retained their positions as national chairman and secretary, respectively, within a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that is aligned with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, following a consensus decision made on Sunday.

This outcome was determined during the faction's elective national convention, which took place at the velodrome of Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, where the duo secured their positions without opposition.

The list of affirmed officers also includes Aaron Chukwuemeka, who will serve as Deputy National Chairman, South, and Yusufu Nya Akirikwen (SAN), who will hold the position of Deputy National Chairman, North.

Other confirmed officers are Kolawale Olabisi as Deputy National Secretary, Odeyemei Mackson Oladiran as National Treasurer, and Lado Dan Marke as Deputy National Treasurer, among several others who have been re-elected to their respective positions.

The roster of re-elected officials further includes Eyim Donatus Henry, Dr Grema Kyari, Umar Mohammed Bature, Efere Augustine, Jungudo Haruna Mohammed, Egwu Goodluck Chidiebere, and Kamaldeen Ajibade (SAN), in addition to Barr. Aloysius Chinemelu U. Uba and Osuoha Okechukwu Donatus.

Additionally, the faction has re-elected Dr Adaba Yatu, Ibrahim Bala Aboki, and Momoh Dejih Eugene Bashir to their respective positions, while Professor Ogunshe Adedayo and Hauwa Ahmed Shinge will continue to serve as National Women Leader and Deputy National Women Leader, respectively.
