Paramilitary Enrollment: Committee Dismisses Rumors of Evaluation Process

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Board Services (CDCFIB) has come out to refute claims of a screening exercise as part of its ongoing recruitment drive for the board and its paramilitary agencies.

In a conversation with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Thursday, the board's Public Relations Officer, Juliet Okeh, addressed the issue, dismissing reports of a recruitment screening invitation supposedly set for April 15 in Kano.

Okeh categorically labeled the report as "fake" and advised the public to ignore it, emphasizing that genuine updates on the board and paramilitary recruitment exercise would be communicated through official and trustworthy media channels.

The PRO also cautioned candidates to be vigilant and beware of fraudulent activities, warning them to avoid becoming victims of scammers.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the board had previously stated in 2025 that a list of shortlisted candidates for physical screening and document verification would be released between December 1 and 3, 2025.

However, this announcement was subsequently postponed and has yet to be rescheduled, leaving the status of the recruitment process uncertain.
