Osun Election: Tension as voters protest agents’ clustering at Ikire unit
There was tension at AUD Primary School, Atile, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State on Saturday as some voters complained about the alleged clustering of party agents around the voting area.
nSecurity personnel were seen intervening to calm the situation and ensure that the voting process was not disrupted.
nAn Accord Party agent, Ajayi Ayodele, accused agents of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of allegedly monitoring voters as they cast their ballots.
nThe allegation reportedly generated concern among some voters at the polling location, prompting security personnel to step in and restore calm.
nVoting continued at the polling unit amid the intervention by security personnel. The claims could not be independently verified as of the time of filing this report.
