Referencing biblical scripture, Pastor Adeboye highlighted the stark contrast between the outcomes of diligent parenting and negligence, citing Proverbs 17:21, which states that a father of a foolish child will know no joy, and Proverbs 10:1, which notes that a wise son brings happiness while a foolish son is a source of sorrow for his mother.

According to Pastor Adeboye, God holds parents accountable for intentionally training their children, allowing them to find rest, and he emphasized that this intentional training yields numerous benefits, while a lack of proper training can have disastrous consequences.
