Ezinne Nwanorue, a Nigerian woman residing in Canada, has sparked a flurry of online reactions after disclosing the unconventional condition she set for her husband before agreeing to sponsor his relocation to the North American country, which includes publicly swearing never to be unfaithful to her if he joins her in Canada.

As a self-described "prophetic intercessor, certified marriage counsellor, wife and mum of three boys," Ezinne claims the instruction came from God, necessitating her husband, Franklin Nwanorue, to make a public declaration in a video posted on Facebook and WhatsApp before he could be granted a visa.

Ezinne specified that her husband's video confession must include a statement that if he cheats on her after relocating to Canada, he will die, in the name of Jesus, and that he will remain faithful to her and be a good husband and father to their children, as allegedly directed by God.

Franklin Nwanorue subsequently shared a video in which he accepted the condition, pledging to remain faithful to his wife and acknowledging the sacrifices she had made since relocating to Canada three years prior, expressing his desire for peace in their marriage and a happy life for his wife and children.

In the video, Franklin Nwanorue confessed and promised that if he ever cheats on his wife after relocating to Canada, he will die in Jesus Christ's name, and he assured his wife that he will keep his promise to her and work towards her happiness, also forgiving past hurts and vowing never to divorce her.

Following her husband's public declaration, Ezinne Nwanorue made a similar commitment, confessing that she will remain faithful to her husband and be a good wife and mother, praying for God's help in building a healthy and Godly home.
