Nigerian physician in Canada warns Carter Efe to remove online clip about his US visa experience

Dr. Zo, a Canada-based Nigerian doctor, has cautioned skit maker and singer Carter Efe to remove a video about his United States visa, citing the risk of misinterpretation by American immigration officials.

In a social media video, Dr. Zo deliberately refrained from playing Carter Efe's clip in its entirety to avoid exacerbating the entertainer's situation, stating "I don't want to play this video for too long because I don't want Carter to be more in trouble.

Dr. Zo believes Carter Efe has made a significant mistake and should delete the video immediately, saying "I think Carter just made a big mistake, and he should delete this video immediately."

Anticipating criticism for addressing the issue publicly, Dr. Zo explained that his intention was to educate his followers, stating "A lot of people are going to say Dr. Zo, why didn’t you call Carter and tell him privately."

He clarified that his public message was meant to inform others, saying "I'm saying this here so that a lot of people on my page, a lot of my followers are not going to make the same mistake again."

Dr. Zo warned that US immigration authorities now closely monitor social media activity, making it risky to post potentially misleading content, noting "America has changed, immigration rules are more stringent now."

He emphasized that such content can lead to misinterpretation, saying "They look at your social media, and they are going to see this video, and you know the way they'll interpret it? This subject is desperate and is unlikely going to come back if he goes to Yankee."

Dr. Zo also dismissed the notion that Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, holds sway over US visa decisions, stating "You know, the one that will shock you the most is that Seyi Tinubu has absolutely no power over that little man at the immigration embassy."

He further cautioned that even Seyi Tinubu's influence is limited, saying "If he himself talks too much, they can ban him for five years."

Drawing from his personal travel experiences, Dr. Zo noted that US immigration procedures have become more stringent over time, saying "America has changed, I travel to several countries, if I enter America, till today, they still ask me unlikely questions more than what they used to be in the past."

Despite criticizing Carter Efe's actions, Dr. Zo expressed support for him and wished him success, saying "So my advice, my friend, I really wish something works with you, and I really pray because you're a good guy and you deserve the best."

Dr. Zo urged Carter Efe to remove the video, saying "You've worked hard enough, but it's not the right way to go about it, I think you're making a mistake, and these people are going to see this video, and they will interpret it wrongly."
