Nigerian duo Moffi and Sanusi win top division championship with Portuguese giants Porto

Terem Moffi and Zaidu Sanusi have emerged as champions of the 2025/2026 Portuguese league, courtesy of their team FC Porto's thrilling victory that clinched the title.
nThe decisive win came when Porto narrowly defeated FC Alverca 1-0 at the Estádio do Dragão, thereby establishing an insurmountable lead at the top of the table.
nUnder the guidance of manager Francesco Farioli, the Dragons secured the championship with two matches still remaining, highlighting their consistent dominance throughout the season.
nThis latest triumph marks Porto's 31st league title, reinforcing their position as one of Portugal's most successful clubs, with only SL Benfica surpassing them in the all-time rankings.
nZaidu Sanusi is now a two-time league title holder with the club, while Terem Moffi is celebrating his maiden major trophy with Porto, having joined on loan from OGC Nice in January.
