NDC rejects unofficial online election outcomes, schedules NEC gathering to finalize contenders

In a statement released on Sunday, National Publicity Secretary Osa Director Esq. emphasized that the results of the nationwide primaries, which took place on May 28 and 29, 2026, are currently in the possession of the NEC.

The party is warning its members, supporters, and stakeholders against relying on the unofficial results being shared on social media platforms, which it considers to be unverified and potentially misleading.

A NEC meeting has been scheduled at the directive of National Leader Seriake Dickson to discuss matters related to the primaries, with all NEC members instructed to arrive in Abuja for a pre-NEC meeting on June 2.

The main NEC meeting is set to take place on June 3, as the party works to finalize its internal processes and prepare for the next stages of the electoral process.
