Naira strengthens, now trading at N1,410 on the black market

The naira saw a significant boost in value, rising to N1,410 per dollar on the parallel market, up from N1,418 per dollar on Thursday, according to recent exchange rates.
nIn a similar trend, the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market, or NFEM, witnessed the naira appreciating to N1,363.5 per dollar.
nData released by the Central Bank of Nigeria, or CBN, revealed that the indicative exchange rate for the naira dropped to N1,363.5 per dollar, down from N1,370 per dollar on Thursday.
nThis change represents a N6.5 appreciation for the naira, as indicated by the CBN's data.
nAs a result of these fluctuations, the disparity between the parallel and official markets contracted to N46.5 per dollar, narrowing from N48 per dollar on Thursday.
