My actions not good enough – Iwobi apologises over red card against Jordan

nSuper Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has admitted fault and apologised for his late red card in Nigeria’s 2-2 friendly draw against Jordan on March 31.
nIwobi was sent off after reacting angrily to being held back by Jordan’s Amer Jamous during the encounter in Turkey.
nSpeaking after the match, the former Everton player acknowledged his actions were unacceptable and took responsibility for the incident.
n“I need to address what I did and apologise to all my Nigerian teammates, staff, and everyone who cares about Nigeria. My actions were not good enough, and I got sent off,” Iwobi stated on the Alexander Yaa Digg podcast.
nHe added that he intends to learn from the experience and move forward positively.
n“But I will learn from this and keep moving on. We got a draw, we did not lose, so we will take the positives.
n“I want to apologise for the mistake,” the Fulham star added.
