Malami secures Kebbi governorship nomination for African Democratic Congress

Abubakar Malami, the former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, has been selected as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Kebbi State, as announced by his special assistant on media, Mohammed Doka, on Sunday. This announcement was made via a statement posted on the former minister's X account.

The ADC confirmed its candidates for key positions in the state, including retired military officer Aminu Bande, who was affirmed as the party's candidate for Kebbi Central Senatorial District. Retired Deputy Comptroller-General Ibrahim Mera secured the ticket for Kebbi North.

Garba Danjuma emerged as the candidate for Kebbi South Senatorial District, as part of the ADC's lineup for the election. The party's slate of candidates is now set ahead of the 2027 election.
