Lagos Introduces Digital Platform to Simplify Construction Permit Processing

The Lagos State Government has launched an electronic platform designed to streamline the process of obtaining physical planning permits, making it more efficient and convenient for applicants.

This development was announced by Kehinde Osinaike, the General Manager of the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority, in a statement released by Abimbola Emdin-Umeh, the ministry's Director of Public Affairs.

The platform, known as the Electronic Physical Planning Permit Processing System, is a key component of the e-LASPPPA initiative, which aims to modernise and accelerate the approval of building permits across the state.

According to Osinaike, the system allows residents, property developers, and other stakeholders to submit and process planning permit applications online from any location, thereby facilitating a more streamlined and accessible experience.

The introduction of this digital platform is expected to significantly reduce delays associated with manual processing, while also making the approval process faster and more user-friendly for all parties involved.
