Lagos APC and Ikeja Local Government Extend Warm Wishes to Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda, have extended congratulations to Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of responsible celebrations during the Eid-el-Fitr festivities.

In a statement, the Lagos APC, through its Spokesman, Seye Oladejo, described Eid-el-Fitr as a significant occasion that embodies sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah, calling for gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to the values of peace, unity, and mutual coexistence.

The party commended the Muslim community for their devotion, prayers, and contributions to the growth and stability of Lagos State, encouraging them to sustain the virtues of patience, generosity, and love beyond the holy month of Ramadan.

The Lagos APC also urged residents to utilize the festive period to strengthen unity, promote peaceful coexistence, and extend support to the less privileged, while reaffirming its commitment to inclusive governance and religious harmony in the state.

In a separate statement, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda, also known as AKOD, through his Chief Press Secretary, Olalekan Oni, extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful in Ikeja and across Lagos State, praising the Muslim Ummah for their sacrifice and steadfastness during Ramadan.

Dauda noted that the period of Ramadan reflects enduring values of faith, patience, and selflessness, and on behalf of the people of Ikeja Local Government, he wished residents a peaceful and joyous celebration, praying that the blessings of the season bring happiness, prosperity, and renewed hope to every home.
