Kwara Legislator Saba Eyes Re-Election, Seeks APC Endorsement for 2027 Bid

Dr. Ahmed Adamu Saba, a member of the House of Representatives from Kwara State's Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, has taken the first step towards re-election by obtaining his nomination form, with his sights set on a second term in 2027.
nSaba has formally submitted his letter of intent to the All Progressives Congress's State Working Committee, following extensive consultations with key party stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of the party's backing in furthering his constituency's development and welfare initiatives.
nIn his letter to state chairman Prince Sunday Fagbemi, the lawmaker expressed his desire to recontest the House of Representatives seat under the APC banner in the 2027 general elections, reflecting on the privilege of serving his constituents and contributing to the state's growth and development.
nSaba highlighted his commitment to promoting good governance, inclusiveness, and sustainable development, in line with the party's vision, through his legislative work, public service, and community development endeavors, and noted that his decision to seek re-election is driven by the need to build on his achievements thus far.
nHe outlined his goals for a second term, including deepening constituency projects, strengthening legislative impact, and advancing the welfare of his constituents across Edu, Moro, and Patigi Local Government Areas, underscoring the importance of continuity and progress.
nThe lawmaker reaffirmed his loyalty and dedication to the party, pledging to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the APC's victory in the 2027 general elections, and appealed for the party leadership's support, guidance, and approval as he seeks another mandate.
