Kano Authorities Search for Family Members of 16-Year-Old Spanish Teen

A search is underway by the Kano State Police Command to locate the relatives of Alex Ansol, a 16-year-old boy from Spain who was discovered wandering in Dadin Kowa Village, Doguwa Local Government Area.

The police command's spokesperson, CSP Abdullahi Kiyawa, issued a statement in Kano on Sunday, providing details about the case.

According to CSP Kiyawa, Alex Ansol and his four relatives arrived in Nigeria from Spain on March 30, entering the country through Abuja International Airport.

Ansol had been traveling to Kano to visit his father, Ansol Fan, but lost contact with his relatives along the Jos to Saminaka road.

The boy, who is described as thin and black in complexion with no tribal marks, speaks English and has been able to provide some information about himself.

Alex Ansol's address in Spain is listed as Barsa Rub, Opp 46 Stadium, according to the statement released by the police command.
