JAMB unveils additional 1.26 million UTME scores, bringing overall tally to 1.89 million
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has made available the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, for candidates who took the exam on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, as announced by Joseph Erunke in Abuja.
nA total of 1,264,940 results from these two days can now be accessed by candidates, according to JAMB, bringing the overall number of results released so far to 1,897,692.
nPrior to this latest release, the Board had already made public the results of 632,752 candidates who sat for the examination on Thursday, April 16.
nDr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB's Public Communication Adviser, has outlined the procedure for checking results, which involves sending "UTMERESULT" to either 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.
nThe 2026 UTME commenced on Thursday, April 16, with the participation of millions of candidates at various accredited computer-based test centres across the country.
