Israel's Netanyahu Warns Iran of Forceful Retaliation in Event of Assault

On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a solemn pledge to launch a robust counterattack against Iran if the latter were to initiate another assault on Israel.
nNetanyahu's stern warning was directed at Iran's leaders, as he cautioned them not to assume that Israel would remain passive in the event of an attack, stating "I will say it to the leaders of Iran: Do not count on things remaining quiet if you attack us," as seen in a video released by his office.
nDuring the conference, Netanyahu also emphasized that Israel's era of restraint is behind it, asserting "The days are over when someone strikes us and we don’t hit back with a decisive blow."
