Iran's Revolutionary Guard alleges it has launched attacks on neighboring Bahrain and Oman
Iran's Revolutionary Guards made a bold claim on Monday, stating that they had launched strikes against Bahrain and Oman, successfully destroying radar systems in Oman and targeting US military facilities in the southern part of Manama.
nThe Guards' statement, as reported by their Sepah news outlet, detailed the extent of the damage, including the targeting of US military facilities and infrastructure in Juffair, Bahrain, where fires were reportedly raging.
nAccording to the statement, the Revolutionary Guards' navy had specifically targeted and destroyed the long-range airborne FPS radar and the ship-detection radar in the Sultanate of Oman.
nThe statement from the Guards provided a glimpse into the scope of the alleged strikes, which appeared to be a coordinated effort against both Bahrain and Oman.
