This reassurance came on Wednesday from Yousef Pezeshkian, who also serves as a government adviser, stating that he had inquired about Mojtaba Khamenei's well-being through acquaintances with connections.

Yousef Pezeshkian took to his Telegram channel to share the update, revealing that he had initially heard rumors of Mojtaba Khamenei being injured, prompting him to seek verification.

He expressed relief upon learning that Mojtaba Khamenei was "safe and sound", attributing the good news to divine intervention, saying "thank God, he is safe and sound".

State television had previously referred to Khamenei as a "wounded veteran of the Ramadan war", although it did not provide specifics about the nature of his injury.
