Iran reports missile strike on military facility close to Bushehr
Iran's state media revealed on Thursday that a projectile of US-Israeli origin struck a military headquarters located on the outskirts of Bushehr, following a resurgence of clashes between the United States and Iran.
nThis incident occurred just hours after tensions between the two nations escalated, sparking a fresh wave of violence.
nA statement from Ehsan Jahanian, the deputy governor of Bushehr, was quoted by the state news agency IRNA, in which he said, "Moments ago, a military headquarters on the outskirts of Bushehr was attacked and hit by a projectile of the American-Zionist enemy."
nA US defence official countered these claims, stating that the US military was not currently engaged in any strikes against Iran.
