‘I’m free of cancer’ – Trump’s chief of staff says
US President Donald Trump’s chief of staff Susie Wiles said Wednesday she was free of cancer, nearly six months after revealing her diagnosis.
nWiles, dubbed the “Ice Maiden” by Trump, announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in March and was receiving treatment.
nIn a post on X, Wiles said that after a medical appointment this week “my pathology results came back clear. I am cancer free.”
nWiles, 69, thanked her family, friends and doctors and gave a “special thank you to President Trump for his unwavering support.”
n“I am deeply grateful and will continue to work to advance his America First Agenda,” she said.
nThe first female White House chief of staff, Wiles has been widely credited with driving Trump’s second presidency forward behind the scenes.
