Hezbollah denounces 'despicable' assassination of top Iranian security official Larijani
Hezbollah, a Lebanese militant group, vehemently denounced Israel's role in the death of Ali Larijani, Iran's national security chief, labeling the act as "cowardly" on Wednesday.
nThe group, which is backed by Iran, issued a statement condemning the killing and the persistent aggression by the US and Israel, asserting that such actions would not dampen the resolve of the Islamic Republic.
nHezbollah's statement further emphasized that the assassination of top leaders would neither shatter the will of the Iranian people nor weaken the determination of its fighters and leadership.
nAli Larijani, who was among the most influential figures in Iran, was killed in an Israeli airstrike, a fact confirmed by Tehran on Tuesday.
