Hashim Convenes with Falana, Pledges to Oppose Single-Party Dominance Bid

Hashim reflected on their joint participation in the anti-apartheid movement, specifically through the Nigeria–ANC Friendship and Cultural Association, which included a notable protest in January 1988 during the visit of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Hashim also recalled past legal battles against military rule, including a lawsuit challenging the Structural Adjustment Programme under the administration of Ibrahim Babangida, in which Falana served as his lawyer.
