Gov. Nwifuru sacks Works Commissioner

nGovernor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has directed the immediate removal from office of the Commissioner for Works, Engr. Stanley Lebechi Mbam.
nThe governor also directed Mbam to hand over all government property in his possession, including his official vehicle, to the Secretary to the State Government.
nHe was further directed to transfer his responsibilities to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Works.
nThe directive was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor.
nThe governor assured residents of the state that his administration remained focused on delivering effective governance and improving public infrastructure.
