General Elaye Slaboh Celebrates INC President, Professor Benjamin Okaba, on His Birthday

The National Chairman of the Niger Delta Ex-Agitators Forum (Phase 3) under the Presidential Amnesty Programme, General Elaye ThankGod Dollar Slaboh, has joined countless well-wishers across the Niger Delta and beyond in celebrating the President of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), Professor Benjamin Ogele Okaba, on the joyous occasion of his birthday.

In a goodwill message personally conveyed through the National Publicity Secretary of the Forum, Chief Gen. Inko Brightstar, fondly known as WhoKnows Tomorrow, General Slaboh described Professor Okaba as a quintessential leader, a beacon of wisdom, and an unwavering defender of the rights and dignity of the Ijaw people.

He extolled Professor Okaba’s rare virtues as a scholar of international repute, whose intellectual depth, courage, and vision have consistently inspired generations of Ijaw sons and daughters. He further noted that Professor Okaba’s leadership of the INC has not only deepened unity among the Ijaw people but has also repositioned the ethnic nationality as a formidable voice in the Nigerian federation.

“Professor Okaba remains a shining example of humility, resilience, and statesmanship,” the message reads. “Through his dogged advocacy, relentless service, and unshaken passion for the advancement of our people, he has continued to rekindle hope in the Ijaw struggle and chart a noble course for our future. Indeed, his life is a testimony of grace and purposeful living.”

General Slaboh, while praying for God’s abundant blessings upon the INC President, wished him many more years of fruitful service, robust health, divine protection, and boundless wisdom to continue steering the Ijaw nation with courage and clarity.

He also urged the younger generation of Niger Deltans to draw inspiration from Professor Okaba’s sterling qualities and contributions, stressing that leaders like him represent the ideals of sacrifice, scholarship, and vision that the region needs at this time of national transformation.
