Gen. Elaye ThankGod Dollar Slaboh Honoured With Prestigious “King Koko Izon Legacy” Award

YENAGOA, BAYELSA STATE — The National Chairman of the Third Phase Presidential Amnesty Programme and Ambassador of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Gen. Elaye ThankGod Dollar Slaboh, has been honoured with the prestigious “King Koko Izon Legacy” Award in recognition of his contributions to resource control advocacy, Niger Delta development and the advancement of the interests of the Ijaw people.rnrnThe distinguished honour was presented to Gen. Slaboh by the Save the Niger Delta Initiative, in collaboration with the Ijaw National Congress (INC), Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) and Diaspora Council.rnrnAccording to the organisers, the award was conferred on Gen. Slaboh in recognition of his consistent advocacy for resource control, sustainable development and justice for the Niger Delta region, as well as his commitment to the welfare and advancement of his people.rnrnThe organisers also highlighted his resilience, leadership qualities and sustained engagement on issues affecting the Niger Delta as some of the factors that distinguished him for the honour.rnrnThe King Koko Izon Legacy Award is therefore seen as a recognition of Gen.
