A viral moment has emerged featuring Nigerian singer Teni, who defied security protocols to access the VIP area and perform for Nigeria's First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, during an International Women's Day event in Akwa Ibom.

During her rendition of the 2018 hit song Case, Teni made a beeline for the VIP section, where Oluremi Tinubu, Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio were seated, prompting security personnel to intervene.

Despite initial resistance from security, Teni successfully entered the VIP area, where she interacted with the dignitaries, encouraging them to join in the singing before transitioning to a different song.

Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno subsequently expressed his gratitude to the First Lady for attending the celebration and reaffirmed the Federal Government's pledge to undertake significant projects in the state.
