Federal Road Safety Corps Stations 275 Personnel in Anticipation of Soludo's Swearing-in Ceremony for Second Term

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra State Command, is bolstering its presence with the deployment of 275 officers in anticipation of the second-term inauguration of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, set to take place on March 17.

Mrs Bridget Asekhauno, the Sector Commander, shared this information during an address to the command's officers and men in Awka on Sunday, outlining the command's strategy to maintain order during the event.

Asekhauno revealed that the personnel will be supported by 29 operational vehicles, comprising motorcycles, ambulances, and tow trucks, which will be dispersed throughout the state to facilitate efficient traffic management and safety.

She emphasized the importance of discipline and professionalism among the officers as they carry out their duties, stressing that their conduct will be crucial in ensuring a smooth and secure experience for all attendees.

In collaboration with other security agencies, the command has increased its traffic control measures and public awareness campaigns to guarantee peaceful and uninterrupted vehicular movement during and after the inauguration ceremony.

Asekhauno reported that a total of 275 officers and men, accompanied by 29 vehicles, including bikes, ambulances, and tow trucks, have been stationed across the state to provide comprehensive coverage and support.

The Sector Commander appealed to residents, stakeholders, and visitors to adhere to the law and cooperate with security personnel, thereby contributing to the safety of dignitaries and the general public.
