Fani-Kayode and Dele Momodu Embroiled in Fresh Spat Over Physical Appearance

A heated social media dispute has broken out between Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, and Dele Momodu, a veteran journalist and former Presidential candidate, with the two exchanging insults and airing political grievances.

The feud intensified on Thursday when Fani-Kayode posted a response on his Facebook page to claims made by Momodu, labeling him as "a pimp" and "sidekick" to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in scathing terms.

Fani-Kayode accused Momodu of suffering from an "inferiority complex" and criticized his career, referencing his past as a journalist and his unsuccessful Presidential bid.

In a biting post, Fani-Kayode wrote, in part: "You called me a pig yet look at yourself in the mirror and tell me who looks more like a pig between you and I.

Your profound ugliness, fat stomach, and lack of good breeding is your greatest torment, and you were nothing, you are nothing, and you will never be anything but Atiku's sidekick," he further emphasized.

Fani-Kayode also highlighted his current focus on serving the nation, citing President Bola Tinubu's ongoing diplomatic engagements in the United Kingdom as evidence of his continued relevance in the corridors of power.

In a sharp retort, Dele Momodu took to his X handle, describing Fani-Kayode as a "classic case of a wasted investment" and an "outright and incurable thug," alluding to Fani-Kayode's elite education at Cambridge University.

Momodu noted that Fani-Kayode's education did not prevent him from developing a "strange malady" of constant conflict and aggression, and he added: "For Femi, it is a fulfillment of a long-expected appointment… Femi without power is like fish out of water.

Momodu continued, "It is such a pity that now that Tinubu has finally looked at his side, with mercy and compassion, he is still busy fighting, like a pig, instead of seeking urgent rehabilitation into the comity of sane human beings."
