FAAN equipment failure disrupts Air Peace flights in Abuja

Air Peace has announced disruptions to some of its flight operations following the failure of a baggage screening machine at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Domestic Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The airline said the technical fault had slowed down baggage screening and loading processes, resulting in delays to scheduled departures from Abuja.

According to Air Peace, the disruption has also affected subsequent flight rotations across its network as some aircraft remain grounded pending the resolution of the issue.

The airline said it was working with relevant airport authorities to restore normal operations as quickly as possible, while ensuring that passengers and their baggage are processed safely.

“Air Peace is making every effort to minimise the impact of the disruption and ensure a seamless return to normal flight schedules,” the airline said.

It apologised to affected passengers and appealed for their patience and understanding, assuring travellers that safety remains its top priority. The airline added that further updates would be provided as the situation develops.
