This disciplinary action comes after Farke's confrontation with the referee immediately following the final whistle of Manchester City's 1-0 win over Leeds last month, which resulted in him being shown a red card.

According to the Football Association, the charge against Farke alleged that he entered the field of play at full time to confront the match officials, which is contrary to Law 12 of the Laws of the Game.

Farke admitted to the charge and accepted the standard penalty, which includes a one-match suspension and a £8,000 fine, as stated by the Football Association.
