Ekanpou set to release 11 books, chronicles N-Delta struggle in new work

Award-winning writer, Dr. Enewaridideke Ekanpou, from Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, is poised to release 11 books cutting across drama, prose and poetry.
His new book entitled TOMPOLO’S HAULERS AND HAILERS, is to be released alongside his creatively repackaged works that include The Wanted Man in Camp Four, The Honourable Commissioner, The Strong Blood, The Raffia Palm Tree, You must Leave Ekameta Tomorrow, The Imbeciles, the Imprisonment of Ebi in the Coven, Sandbanks in River Forcados and others.

Clearly situated as a relentless advocate of Niger Delta environmental restoration, physical development, and a ‘moral conscientiser’ of the Nigerian Federal Government and the multinational oil companies in the Niger Delta region, in TOMPOLO’S HAULERS AND HAILERS, Dr. Ekanpou who historicises the Niger Delta struggle right from the blood-soaked days of the defunct Camp Five in Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West Council of Delta State, sounds both unapologetically critical and panegyrical of some some notable Nigerian personalities whose daily engagements are interrogated alongside the insensitivity of the Nigerian Federal Government to the plight of the oil-producing communities.
