Eid-el-Fitr Celebrations: Governor Idris Extends Warm Wishes to Muslim Community, Pledges Ongoing Progress in Kebbi State

Dr. Nasir Idris, the Governor of Kebbi State, has extended his congratulations to Muslims throughout the state on the successful completion of Ramadan and the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, marking a significant milestone in the Islamic calendar.

In a statement issued by Abdullahi Idris Zuru, his Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy, Governor Idris commended the people of Kebbi State for their unwavering dedication to prayers and sacrifices during the holy month of Ramadan.

The governor also expressed his appreciation for the residents' resilience and their support for his administration's initiatives in key sectors, including education, infrastructure, agriculture, and economic empowerment, which are crucial to the state's development.

According to Governor Idris, the distribution of Ramadan palliatives and dry season farming inputs was more extensive this year compared to previous years, demonstrating his administration's commitment to providing timely intervention and support to those in need.

On the issue of security, Governor Idris reassured the residents of Kebbi State that his administration will continue to support security agencies and invest in the training of volunteer youths to enhance security efforts.

Hundreds of youth volunteers are currently undergoing training by a combined team of personnel from the military, police, State Security Service, and Nigerian Civil Defence Corps, as part of efforts to bolster security in the state.

Governor Idris expressed his gratitude to a range of stakeholders, including traditional rulers, Islamic scholars, APC stakeholders, civil servants, and NGOs, for their cooperation and support in advancing the state's development agenda.
