In a statement released on Wednesday, Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris described Eid al-Adha as a sacred season exemplifying faith, obedience, and total submission to Almighty Allah, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

Idris urged Nigerians to utilize the occasion to foster national unity and promote peaceful coexistence across ethnic, religious, and political lines, emphasizing the need for reflection, unity, tolerance, and a renewed commitment to shared values.
