Eid Celebration: Despite Facing Significant Challenges, Nigerians Will Overcome Adversity - ADC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) acknowledges that numerous Nigerians are currently facing hardships, but emphasizes that this situation is temporary, and is urging citizens to draw strength from faith, resilience, and unity as the Muslim community observes Eid-el-Fitr.
nIn a departure from traditional greetings, the party's Eid message takes a more somber tone, acknowledging the daily struggles of families while encouraging Nigerians to retain hope and their sense of shared humanity during a challenging period.
nThe message was conveyed in a statement issued on Friday by Bolaji Abdullahi, the National Publicity Secretary of the ADC.
nThe ADC extended warm Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims and their families, noting that the season serves as a reminder that faith, sacrifice, and resilience can help restore confidence in a brighter future, even in the most difficult times.
nThe party acknowledged that the difficulties many Nigerians are currently experiencing are real, but should not dictate the country's future.
nAccording to the ADC, the spirit of Ramadan teaches that perseverance, compassion, and unity ultimately triumph over hardship, as many families across the country face significant challenges.
nAs the nation marks the end of the holy month with Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, the ADC prayed that the values of discipline, generosity, and devotion that defined the past weeks would guide the country towards a more just, peaceful, and prosperous future for all Nigerians.
nThe party reiterated its commitment to a vision of a future where every Nigerian can live with dignity, security, and opportunity, as stated by Abdullahi.
