Eedris Abdulkareem, a renowned Nigerian musician and entertainer, paid a visit to Edo State on Monday, accompanying the governor on a tour of various projects in the Edo Central Senatorial District and praising the governor's efforts to transform the state into a model for the country.

According to a statement by Dr. Patrick Ebojele, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Eedris Abdulkareem expressed his desire to personally verify the progress reported in the media, stating, "I came to see for myself if Edo is truly working, and I must say the governor has done a lot.

Eedris Abdulkareem commended the governor's achievements, noting that the impact of his efforts will become even more apparent in the next one or two years, and encouraged Edo indigenes, particularly those living abroad, to return and witness the developments firsthand.

Governor Okpebholo reaffirmed his commitment to improving the state, declaring that his ultimate goal is to leave Edo better than he met it, with a focus on delivering tangible development in infrastructure, education, and healthcare, driven by increased federal allocations under President Bola Tinubu.
