Development: Tambuwal abandons PDP amid party turmoil, joins ADC ranks

Tambuwal's resignation from the PDP was prompted by the party's persistent internal crisis, leadership disagreements, and deepening divisions, which he believes have irreparably compromised the party's unity and direction.

In a statement released on X in the early hours of Thursday, Tambuwal announced his defection, confirming that he had submitted his resignation in writing to his ward chairman prior to formally joining the ADC alongside his associates and supporters.
