Erling Haaland has secured the top scorer spot in the EPL for the 2025/26 season, claiming his third Golden Boot in four seasons with Manchester City following the conclusion of the season on Sunday.

Haaland was notably absent from the City squad that suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa, a match that marked the end of Guardiola’s 10-year tenure as the club’s manager.

Throughout the season, Haaland made 35 league appearances, scoring 27 goals, but unfortunately, this was not enough to help City surpass Arsenal and claim the Premier League title.

With this achievement, Haaland joins the ranks of Alan Shearer and Harry Kane as a three-time Golden Boot winner, trailing only Mohamed Salah and Thierry Henry, who have each won the award four times in the Premier League era.

Igor Thiago of Brentford finished second in the scoring standings with 22 goals, a performance that earned him a spot in the Brazil squad for the World Cup.
