Chief Inko Brightstar Applauds Hon. Joseph Alakere for Attracting Gigantic NDDC Projects to Opuama K

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President of the Concerned Citizens of Opuama Kingdom, Chief Inko Brightstar, popularly known as WhoKnows Tomorrow, has commended his leader and political boss, Hon. Joseph Ede. Alakere, for attracting numerous development projects from the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to the Opuama Kingdom.

Chief Inko Brightstar gave the commendation when he accompanied Hon. Alakere, officials of the NDDC, and the APC Chairman of Ward 13 in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Chief General Crowther Opumie, on an inspection tour of a newly completed and fully furnished 10-room self-contained corper's lodge in Opuama Town.

Expressing deep appreciation, Chief Inko applauded the APC Ward 13 leader for ensuring that such a significant project was attracted to the community. He noted that the lodge is only one of the many NDDC projects currently ongoing in the Opuama Kingdom.

According to him, “I am honestly amazed that such a massive and well-executed project has been brought to Opuama Town. In the history of Bayelsa State, many politicians, when given the opportunity to attract projects, divert them elsewhere. But Hon. Joseph Alakere has remembered his roots. For him to bring these projects home, may God continue to bless him and his family, and grant him guidance and protection for greater achievements to come.”

Chief Inko also extended heartfelt gratitude to the Managing Director/CEO of the NDDC, Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, and the Director of Procurement, Chief Dr. Doodei Week, for providing Hon. Alakere with the enabling environment and approving these developmental projects for Opuama Kingdom. He prayed that God would bless both leaders for their commitment to grassroots development.

He further called for unity among political leaders in the Opuama Kingdom, urging them to always prioritize the progress of the kingdom above personal interests. He encouraged others to emulate Hon. Joseph Alakere by working to bring more meaningful development to the area.
