Chelsea paired with Leeds, Manchester City set to host Southampton in FA Cup matchup – schedule details announced
Manchester City will take on Southampton in the FA Cup semi-finals, while Chelsea are set to face Leeds United following the outcome of the latest draw.
nSouthampton secured their place in the last four with a stunning victory over Arsenal on Saturday.
nManchester City, meanwhile, delivered a dominant performance to thrash Liverpool, while Chelsea cruised through after putting seven goals past Port Vale.
nLeeds United endured a dramatic route to the semi-finals against West Ham at the London Stadium.
nDaniel Farke’s side appeared to be in control, but two late goals from the hosts forced the tie into extra time.
nWith neither side able to find a breakthrough in the additional 30 minutes, the match was decided by penalties, where Leeds held their nerve to win 4-2 and book their first FA Cup semi-final appearance in 39 years.
nThe semi-final clashes will be played at Wembley Stadium across the weekend of April 25 and April 26.
