Breaking: Nenadi Usman confirmed as official national leader of Labour Party

nFormer Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Labour Party Nigeria, Nenadi Esther Usman, has been elected the substantive National Chairman of the party.
nShe emerged at the party’s 2026 elective national convention held on Tuesday in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.
nAlso elected was former member of the House of Representatives for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency and Special Adviser to Governor Alex Otti on Political Affairs, Hon. Acho Obioma, who now serves as the party’s National Secretary.
nHe replaces Senator Darlington Nwokocha, who previously served as Secretary of the Caretaker Committee.
nAll members of the new National Working Committee emerged through a consensus arrangement.
