According to boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, Joshua requires time to recover before contemplating his own return to the ring, as he accompanied Hearn into the arena dressed in a white tracksuit.

Joshua and Hearn emerged from a black people carrier and walked past numerous camera crews as they entered the arena.

A noticeable absence of camaraderie was displayed by Deontay Wilder, Joshua's old rival, who was once frequently linked to a potential world title bout with Joshua, as Wilder brushed past him in a tight corridor without acknowledgement.
