Bayelsa State Ex-Agitators Forum Chairman Passes Vote of Confidence on National Chairman G

The Bayelsa State Chairman of the Niger Delta Ex-Agitators Forum under the Presidential Amnesty Programme (Phase 3), Mr. Mondiafiri Sunday, also known as Gen.Shaku-Shaku, has passed a vote of confidence on the forum’s National Chairman, Gen. Elaye Slaboh.

Gen. Shaku-Shaku praised the national chairman for his inclusive and visionary leadership, lauding his open-door policy and ability to carry everyone along.

Speaking to REAL NAIJA GIST NEWS REPORTERS, Gen.Shaku-Shaku commended Elaye Slaboh for his inclusive leadership style, emphasizing that he has consistently carrying everyone along in the affairs of the forum.

“We are satisfied with the way Gen. Elaye Slaboh is leading. For a long time, we searched for a true representative—and now we have found one. His leadership has brought hope, stability, and progress to the forum,” he stated.

He further advised that the issue of leadership tenureship should not be discussed at this time, emphasizing that the current administration has earned the trust and support of Phase 3 leaders.

In a message of humility and unity, Gen. Shaku-Shaku urged other leaders to embrace the spirit of service:

“We all cannot lead at the same time. Let us learn how to serve, and surely, God will uplift us. There is a time for everything—life is rotational. Let us patiently wait for our turn.”

Addressing internal sabotage within the forum, Gen. Shaku-Shaku cautioned those he referred to as "prodigal sons"—individuals he claimed have made repeated attempts to unseat the legitimate leadership of Gen. Elaye Slaboh through divisive plots and failed coups.

“I warn those who always plot to remove Elaye Slaboh and his legitimate excos to be very careful. When their plans fail, they return pretending to be innocent—only to reap where they did not sow,” he said.

He went on to question the sincerity of such individuals:

“If everybody had abandoned Elaye like you people did, would there have been anything left for you to return and benefit from?”

His remarks served as both a call for loyalty and a strong message to those attempting to destabilize the hard-earned unity within the leadership structure of the forum.
