Ayra Starr's 'Bloody Samaritan' achieves silver status in the UK

Ayra Starr's "Bloody Samaritan" has garnered a silver certification in the United Kingdom, marking another significant achievement for the Afrobeats sensation, with the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) acknowledging the song's commercial success.
nThe song, which was released in 2021 as part of Ayra Starr's debut album, 19 & Dangerous, under Mavin Records, has contributed to the growing list of Nigerian stars whose works have received UK silver certifications.
nNotable Nigerian artists who have also achieved this milestone include Burna Boy, with projects such as African Giant, Twice As Tall, and Love, Damini, earning silver certifications.
nAsake has also received similar recognition for his projects Work of Art and the single "Lonely At The Top", further solidifying Nigeria's presence in the UK music scene.
nOther Nigerian artistes with UK silver-certified projects are Wizkid for Made in Lagos, Davido for Timeless, Tems for Born in the Wild, Omah Lay for Boy Alone, and Rema for Rave & Roses, demonstrating the country's growing influence on global music.
nSinger CKay has also secured a silver certification for his hit single "Love Nwantiti", joining the expanding list of Nigerian stars who have achieved this milestone in the UK.
