Arobo contests Owo/Ose APC primary outcome, claims election was rigged against the people's choice

Ghani Rotimi Arobo, an aspirant for the Owo/Ose House of Representatives seat in Ondo state, has dismissed the outcome of last Saturday's APC primary, labeling it a blatant attempt to undermine the people's will.

In a statement, Hon. Ayo Ilevare, Director-General of the Ghani Rotimi Arobo Campaign Organisation, denounced the announced results as a "sham" deliberately fabricated to subvert the people's sovereign will.

Ilevare vehemently rejected the outcome, stating that it was an assault on the democratic process rather than a genuine expression of democracy.

He claimed that the outcome contradicted the will of party members on the ground, despite efforts by the APC national secretariat to promote internal democracy, and asserted that the campaign had recorded a landslide victory.

Ilevare alleged that unnamed individuals had manipulated results and engaged in backroom deals to impose a predetermined outcome, warning that such actions were unlawful and unethical.

He vowed that the campaign would not allow any form of manipulation to undermine the sacred mandate given by the people, and would instead pursue lawful means to address every questionable aspect of the process.

Ilevare urged supporters to remain calm yet resolute, emphasizing that the mandate they had given belonged to them and would be defended against all attempts to truncate or annul it.

He framed the current situation as the beginning of a greater awakening, rather than the end, and expressed confidence that the renewed hope the campaign represented could not be destroyed by the actions of a few individuals.
