Armed assailants launch assault on Jos North neighborhood, resulting in multiple fatalities

nGunmen reportedly stormed Agwan Rukuba community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State on Sunday night, killing an unspecified number of residents.
nEyewitnesses said the attackers invaded the community around 7:30 p.m., firing bullets indiscriminately and causing widespread panic. Residents struggled to identify the victims, and the exact death toll remains unknown.
nAccording to reports, the gunmen operated for several minutes before fleeing the scene.
nEfforts to obtain a response from the Plateau State Police Command were unsuccessful, as calls to the Police Public Relations Officer, Alfred Alabo, could not be reached at the time of reporting.
