APC Members Invade Local Polling Stations for Party Nomination Process

In a show of enthusiasm, members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, flocked to numerous political wards on Saturday to take part in the House of Representatives party primaries across the state.

The primary exercise commenced at approximately 12noon, spanning all 30 local government areas, with supporters of various candidates eagerly awaiting the arrival of the primary committee to initiate the process.

At the Ward 3 Apoun collation centre in Osogbo, party members from the local government were lined up, each backing their preferred aspirants in an orderly fashion.

In Ward 8, Olorunda local government, party members were patiently waiting for the committee members to arrive, paving the way for the exercise to begin.

APC youth leader in Ward 8, Kehinde Lawal, provided reassurance that the primary exercise would proceed peacefully, even amidst heightened tension between supporters of Ibrahim Taofeek and Afees Durojaiye.

Kehinde Lawal stated, "Once the committee gets to the venue, the exercise will take off, and I can assure you that it will be peaceful," conveying his confidence in a smooth and tranquil process.
