An Open Letter of Appreciation

An Open Letter of Appreciation

Your Excellency, Distinguished Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, Former Governor of Bayelsa State,

I make no pretence about my past position: I was never your supporter, largely because of my assessment of your record as Governor of Bayelsa State. However, leadership is also measured by the courage to speak the truth when it matters most.

After listening to your recent press release, I have chosen to forgive the past and publicly commend you for your honesty. You boldly exposed the destructive pattern of sycophancy, betrayal, and opportunistic politics practiced by certain individuals from Ekeremor and Brass Local Government Areas Of Bayelsa State. Your decision to describe such actors as “ANIMALS” was not an insult; it was an accurate description of a mindset and behaviour that has held our politics hostage for years.

At a time when many leaders choose silence, compromise, or hypocrisy, you chose truth. That courage deserves recognition. For speaking plainly, without fear or favour, I say thank you. May God bless you.

Signed, Chief Inko Brightstar Waribo (a.k.a. Whoknows Tomorrow)
